Liebe User,

mit ein wenig Entsetzen musste ich feststellen, dass das neue Cities XL 2011 bei mir ruckelt und so frage ich mich, welche Komponente man ersetzen müsste, damit das nicht mehr der Fall ist. Mein aktuelles System ist:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4800+ 2.50GHz
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD4890 PCI Express 1GB DDR5
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Laut Windows Leistungsindex sind alle Kompenten bei 7,0 oder 7,0 bewertet, außer der Prozessor (5,4) und die Festplatte (5,2), so dass ich annehme, dass dort das Problem liegen könnte.
Was müsste also ausgetaucht werden und welche neue Hardware könnt ihr mir empfehlen?

Sooo...hab etwas rumprobiert. Anti-Aliasing kann ich einstellen wie ich will, es ruckelt weiterhin. Wenn ich Schatten dazu noch entferne, auch noch. Partikel entfernen führt zu keiner schönen Ansicht mehr, so ein bissl was für's Auge soll ja auch dabei sein.

Mein RAM ist übrigens: 4 GB DDR2-RAM PC800 CL5 A-DATA Value 2x2GB KIT retail

Aus dem englischen Forum zum Speil hat noch jemand etwas empfohlen:

>1.boot the game and when at the menu screen press the windows key.
>2.press "ctrl + alt+ del"
>3.select "start manager"
>4.select "processes" and look for citiesXL.exe
>5.right click and select "set affinity"
>6.De select "all cores/processors and select cores 1-2-3 if using a quad core and leave core 0 unchecked.
>7.press "ok" and click on the cities xl icon at the bottom of the bar to go back into the game.

Bin mir aber nicht sicher, was das heißen soll. Ausprobieren werde ich es heute Abend mal.
